Since he was age 4, the Corvair automobile has been a driving force in the life of Hastings resident Chris Shade.
With a passion spawned by his family’s ownership of multiple Corvairs, he has surrounded himself with all things associated with the classic car throughout his life, converting his thriving used-car dealership and repair shop in 2016 into what is now the lone Corvair dealership in the country, serving customers around the globe with parts, repairs, and a working inventory of 80 cars.
